I've been feeling down on myself lately. I just want to go home to be honest with you. I decided with this attitude I'm like the Israelites wandering in the desert. Let's hope it doesn't take me 40 years to get out! I came across this scripture this morning and then again in a different devotion a little later. Because God confirmed it twice I really thought I should listen:
"Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperious and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:6-9
As you can see above, I'm to be strong and courageous knowing that God has us here for a reason and is going to do great works through us. It's just what I needed to here and just in case doubt creeped in, he confirmed it to me twice. He really is an awesome and loving God.

"Be strong and courageous for the Lord your God is with you..." It's my favorite Bible verse. :)
I can only imagine. I have these visions of moving far off and starting new in a more rural town and different environment, but the realities seem to escape me in the midst of day dreaming. Not having the friends and family I'm use to being so close. The stores, routines, the WEATHER, everything that I'm use to being gone. It's definately a time that there is one constant (besides your husbnd and children) who is with you.. God!
I'm so glad you have found peace in knowing He is with you and guiding your paths. When I feel caught up in my feelings about my surroundings and life I try to remember, "I'm here living for HIM, not Him there to help me live for me and the way I want too."
While it's difficult now, your rewards are being stored up elsewhere. ;)
Love you! Miss you! Praying for you!
