As I'm anticipating the 'move' I'm starting to realize this will be the first time in 5 years that we won't have a garage. If you think about it a garage is much more then a place to park your car but a very good use of storage! I just assumed we would always have one for our xmas stuff and keepsakes. I guess I took my garage for granted.
Today I am thankful that I've had a garage for the last 5 years. I didn't know what a luxury it was until I didn't have it anymore.

We have been married 8 1/2 yrs. I have only had a garage for 6 months of that. CRAZY!! Those 6 mo. were when we first got married. So no kids, not as much stuff, etc. I long for a garage these days but alas don't have one. But we have an attic so that helps but a pain to put things up and down. So it holds stuff that we don't use a lot. But I just had to be very creative in how I store stuff.
Seriously a garage should never be overlooked! If I ever own a house one day I'm going to remember all these years and appreciate them!
